I gave my Chihuahua, Beast, his first bowl today it was a mixture of his old food and his new food. He actually ate the Hills food first by digging his old food away. After he ate all of the Hills food he looked up at me and then finished his bowl.
I have been wanting to move him up to a better food for a while now I just didn't know what to pick because there are so many brands out there. This has gotten me really thinking and I am going to do some real research on this subject to see what I can find out.
Now a little about Beast. Beast is a Chihuahua. He is about 9 years old now. I got him not too long after I had my son who turned 9 in May. Beast has dry skin but it got better when I last switched his food so I hoping the Hills will take care of that. He can be a picky eater but he has gotten better about that or I haven't bought him a food he doesn't like anymore either way I am happy he eats. He Only has one eye. His other eye came out of the socket and they were not able to put it back in so he had to have surgery to have it removed :( . I still feel like that is my fault because I wasn't home and he got out of the bathroom where I keep him when no one is home. I have two bigger dogs and I don't like my little Beast running around with them with out supervision.
